Every so often, the answers I get back tell me more about what’s actually moving than the picks themselves.
This is one of those weeks.
I asked the team a simple question: What are you watching this week?
Nvidia (NVDA) reports Wednesday after the close, Warsh takes the stage at Jackson Hole Thursday for his first as Fed Chair, and the PCE (Personal Consumption Expenditures) report lands in between them.
On top of that, the Treasury’s own checking account closed at $935 billion on August 20 and is reportedly on the table to help fund the bond buybacks announced last Wednesday.
Here’s what the experts had to say:
KARIM RAHEMTULLA
“The market is fixated on the 10-year bond right now, and the movement is going to impact volatility. I want reactions from the 10-year and comments from Bessent, plus the buildup to Jackson Hole and whatever Warsh says.”
Karim thinks Warsh raises interest rates two or three times before next summer, and that raising short-term rates is the only thing that brings long-term rates down.
CJ JOHNSON | ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury ETF (TBT)
“Inflation keeps pressure on long-term yields, and we get a PCE report this week. Massive Treasury supply keeps pushing yields higher. Higher yields crush bond prices, and that drives TBT higher.
Focus is only going to get more intense on the $40 trillion debt this week. That could generate fear of downgrades, which means even higher rates.”
TBT is the inverse long-term Treasury fund, so when long bond prices fall, it goes up.
NATE BEAR | Palantir (PLTR)
“PLTR is an earnings winner with stacked squeezes, and it looks like it wants to start pushing toward $200 again. With the war being sticky, I like this as a bullish name and also a bit of a headline defensive name if things escalate.”
Palantir put up the best quarter in company history on August 3. Revenue up 93% to $1.94 billion, US commercial up 149%, full-year guidance raised to $8.15 billion. Shares are up more than 40% over the last month.
It’s around $174 now.
BRYAN BOTTARELLI | Robinhood (HOOD)
“I’ve been trading and discussing Robinhood, and many War Room members hit big gains with it this past week. The stock is getting a boost as the Clarity Act, the first major legislation on crypto, will soon be on the political agenda. If we can get a push up to $100 and above, we can be positioned to ring the register.”
Last week, Trump hosted crypto executives at the White House on Wednesday, including Robinhood’s CEO, and pushed Congress to move on it.
The stock is trading above $107, and crypto is pumping despite the weakness we’re seeing in the market today.

Whatever comes out of this week’s events could reshape your portfolio.
That means expect volatility.
Some traders sit out a week like this…
Bryan has a better idea…
Why wait, hold, and hope when you can FLIP instead?
He’ll be aiming for gains as high as 224%, 384%, and even 667% in a single night.
And on Thursday, August 27, he’s revealing this strategy LIVE.
