Editor’s Note: Wanna know the next BIG tech innovation on the horizon? Then we have the perfect guest to listen to…
Matt McCall has been an innovations and growth expert his entire career, and he’s joining CJ as a special guest LIVE Wednesday at 2 PM EST to discuss the biggest investment trends before they happen.
Last week inside The War Room, I posted a question…
Could Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey provide a spark for large-screen film company IMAX?
Specifically, I said…
“For the first time in quite a while, I get the sense that movie-goers are willing to pay extra to see this film on a larger IMAX screen, so this could be a trigger catalyst that a stock like IMAX has been waiting for!”
Now that the results are in, this idea has proven to be true.
Here are the results…
To me, that last statistic is huge.
Over half the tickets sold were premium large format — and IMAX led the way!
If there was ever a trigger to push IMAX back up to the June high around $45.00, this is it!
Not only that, but based on the extended tail that The Odyssey could have, this trigger could very well extend into August.

Personally, I saw this film twice this weekend. The film was three hours long, and I didn’t dare get up to use the bathroom, even during my second showing.
And as someone who goes to the theater often, both showings were some of the most crowded I can remember in years.
Think about that for a second…
A story (a thought!) we all know. One we were forced to read in high school.
Yet it packed theaters because Christopher Nolan (a man!) used the magic of movie making (a trick!) at its most premiere level to inspire people to see it.
He invested in IMAX to make his vision come to life.
Will you?
As I told you in The War Room, I think we could see IMAX shares rally up to the recent highs around $45. Be sure to join us in there to see exactly how we’re playing it.
